Coming Spring 2021

Sustained by Ritual

We are born and have our being in a place of memory. We chart our lives by everything we remember from the mundane to the majestic. We know ourselves through the art and act of remembering. Memories offer us a world where there is no death, where we are sustained by rituals of regard and recollection.

Small Rituals.

Home goods are often sites of memory, grandma’s orange pyrex cookware, family albums filled with sepia tone melanin, mama’s favorite earrings and the scent of her perfume. Small rituals like home goods facilitate self care and grounding. The goods we invite into our home should reflect our experiences, politics, histories and of course aesthetics.

Centrally Located.

This catalogue space is devoted to goods made with intention by individuals who are invested in Black liberation, Black resistance, and Black joy. We feature a curated selection of goods from Black artists, ceramicists, publishers, designers, makers, woodworkers, craftspeople designed to reflect you.
